Olympian Bryony Shaw of RS:X Class fame is one of the first Ambassadors for the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation. Ben Ainsley announced at the London Boat show that Bryony, together with colleagues Paul Goodison and Stevie Morrison, is to represent the charity formed in Bart's memory.
The Ambassadors are to support the work of the foundation by inspiring the next generation of sailors. One of their activities will be to visit schools to encourage children to realise what opportunities there are in sport and what benefits there can be by getting involved.
