Real Life: Branch Manager for a major for a major engineering company supplying technology to the Automotive / Aerospace / Bearing Industries. An HLM and former Commodore of the Dabchicks Sailing Club.

ISAF/RYA Qualifications: National Race Officer; National Mark Layer; Advanced Powerboat Instructor; Safety Boat Instructor; First Aid; Dinghy Coach.
Race Management Experience: My experience covers Safety for youth events, Race management and Mark laying. In recent years I have worked extensively in Ireland training and assisting their Mark Layers. I own a full race management Rib, equipped to run any job on the race course from Start/Finish Boat, through Mark Laying to Safety.
Major Events: As mark layer - World Championships x 2 (Dragons 2007,Ireland; Toppers 2008, Ireland); Olympic Test Event 2011; ISAF Sailing World Cup Events (Sail for Gold, 2011); Volvo Ocean Race Inshore Series x 2 (dates & venues?); National Championships x 2 (dates? 2005-2012); Cork Week x 3 (dates? 2006-2010); Eric Twiname x 3 (dates? 2009-2011).
Sailing and Racing Experience: Sailed and raced Enterprises, Merlin Rockets and 505’s since the 70s competing in Open meetings, National Schools and National Championships. Since then competed in IRC and EAORA events as crew/navigator on yachts.
