SolentXtra operates as a complete team at ISAF Sailing World Cup Events, the Olympic Sailing Regatta and other very major events.
Race management at other events takes place throughout the year. At those events there may be any number of team members from just one to a large proportion of the team. Similarly, whilst Robert Lamb is the team leader and as such acts as Race Officer at the most major events, other members may take that role and lead the team at other regattas.
SolentXtra is also involved in teaching race management both on and off the water.
Whilst SolentXtra was given its identity in 2012, the team has been built over a long period, developing in skill and expertise at many major events whilst aiming to be included at the 2012 Olympics.
